At tinyAlbert, we're all about scaling content creation.

That's why I'm delighted to share this nifty time-saving tool. If you want to deliver a consistent branding message or cut design time by reusing intricate combinations of elements, spend 10 minutes learning how to use the Modules feature.

Here's how it works. Save a frequently used element (or combination of elements) as a module (it's like a group). tinyAlbert drops the module into a folder. Later, drag the module to the canvas each time you edit a message. Once on the canvas, customize the module content. That's it.

Here's a quick overview.

Let's get started

Saving a module

The first step is to locate the element you want to save as a module. The Module tool only saves structures, containers, and stripes.

  1. Hover the element with the mouse. A tab displays on the right side of the element.

  2. Click the tab.

The next two features help you tag a module.

  1. Click the Category button and select a tag on the drop-down menu.

  2. Click the Tag field and enter one or more tags.

  3. Change the default Id label. (optional but not recommended)

  4. Click Save.

tinyAlbert saves the module. All modules are sorted by Category label. Hover the mouse on a module to quickly review its content without placing the content on the editor stage.

Editing a module

You can update element information in the Modules folder. That includes modifying the Category label, tags, module name, and description. You can also change the image (if applicable).

Any change you make to an image in the Modules folder affects future uses of the module. If you've used this module in other messages in the same -- or different -- campaign, that content is not affected by your edits in the Modules folder.

To edit a module:

  1. Hover the mouse on the module.

  2. Click the ellipsis.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Make changes.

  5. Click Update.

Using pre-built modules

tinyAlbert comes equipped with a collection of pre-built modules that you can use and customize. Click the button and scroll down the list. The modules are organized by Category label.

That's all.

Now, you can save and reuse multiple content blocks easily, saving time and resources.
