Personalizing email messages might be one of the most important customizations. It helps build better engagement with your subscribers. I'll show you how to personalize tinyAlbert messages using merge tags.

Important

If a subscriber does not have data associated with the merge tag you added, tinyAlbert leaves the personalized tag blank. You'll never send the dreaded Hello First Name email with us!

Adding merge tags

Open a message and click inside a text block. This is where tinyAlbert will insert the personalized text. Next, click the Merge tags drop-down menu and select an option.

Merge tags appear as pre-formatted and in human-readable form when you add them. Note that the merge tag text automatically takes on the styling of the text around it. You can, of course, style the personalized text separately using the same text styling options available in tinyAlbert.

That's all.

Now, you can make messages even more relevant to individual subscribers with the Merge tags tool.
