Sometimes, less is more. That's certainly true when it comes to automations and online stores.

If you decide to enable tinyAlbert's Abandoned Cart automation, I'd encourage you to disable Shopify's Abandoned Checkout automation. Why? So you don't overwhelm your customers with too many emails with similar messages.

Disabling Shopify's Abandoned Cart automation

  1. Log in to your Shopify account.

  2. Click Settings in the bottom left corner of the page.

  3. Select Checkout.

  4. Scroll down to the Abandoned checkout emails section.

  5. Uncheck the Send abandoned checkout emails automatically box.

  6. Click Save.

That's it!

Now, your customers won't receive any abandoned checkout/cart emails from you until you've activated your tinyAlbert automation!
