Here's a crazy stat. The average shopping cart abandon rate is 69% (based on surveys from 2012 to 2022). The reasons why shoppers leave a cart without making a purchase are plentiful. Some of them are beyond your control, but many factors are fixable.
Perhaps the easiest fix - reaching out to prospects who abandoned the checkout - is the tiny Abandoned Cart automation.
What is the Abandoned Cart automation?
tinyAlbert automatically sends an AI-written message to each store visitor who begins - but does not finish - a purchase at the checkout. The message goes out four hours after the visitor abandons your store cart.
Enabling the Abandoned Cart automation
Log in to your store and click tinyAlbert AI Marketing on the side menu.
Click Automations.
Scroll down to the Abandoned Cart card and click an option.
Preview the automation.
Get more information (plus Regenerate and Edit if the automation is deactivated).
Switch on the toggle to activate the automation.
Preview the Abandoned Cart automation
Click Preview and check out how the message will display on desktop and mobile screens. Want a different message layout? Click Regenerate.
As you scroll through the message, review the customizations you made, like:
Brand Kit content (e.g. logo and social media icons)
custom sender details
Get more information
Open a modal by clicking the three dots. The window displays two options: click Regenerate layout to change the design or click Information to learn about the automation and see performance data.
Click See reports to display revenue stats.
Activation
To turn on the automation, switch the toggle to the ON position. (When enabled, the word Deactivate displays.) To stop sending Abandoned Cart messages, switch off the toggle.
That's it.
Now you know how to find and enable the tinyAlbert Abandoned Cart automation.
