IMHO, copywriting is where AI (in terms of its current development) can really add value and help email marketers take a great leap forward in productivity.

Use AI throughout the copywriting process. Generate lists of ideas, rough out a first draft, and add some polish to the final text. Here's how AI can be beneficial in the context of copywriting.

Automated content generation

AI-powered tools can create entire articles, blog posts, product descriptions, and other types of written content. Users input specific keywords, topics, or prompts and let the AI produce human-like text. The result is on-brand content in seconds. When it comes to pitches, slogans, tag lines, and long stories, AI text can sometimes produce bland outputs if you don't add the right amount of prompt context (which we call AI tuning), but it's a good start and fuel for the creative mind.

Check out tinyAlbert and see how it generates on-brand email copy and designs based on industry best practices and your tuning input (qua context).

Grammar and style checks

AI-based writing tools can analyze and correct grammar errors, spelling mistakes, and fractured sentences. Now you can create sound copy that's free of typos and avoid nasty messages from grammar nazis.

Language and tone adaptation

AI algorithms can adapt the tone and style of writing to suit different audiences and platforms. Whether it's formal, conversational, persuasive, or informative, AI can adjust the copy's tone to match the desired voice.

Content optimization

AI can analyze existing content and identify areas for improvement, such as SEO optimization, readability scores, and keyword density.

A/B testing

AI-driven tools can perform A/B testing on different versions of copy to determine which performs better with the audience. This allows for data-driven decision-making to fine-tune the content for maximum effectiveness.

Generating headlines and titles

AI can help craft attention-grabbing headlines and titles by analyzing successful patterns and trends, increasing the likelihood of engaging readers.

Personalization

AI can use data analytics to tailor content to individual users based on their preferences and behaviour. This personalization enhances user experience and engagement with the copy.

Summarization

AI can summarize long articles or documents quickly, which is useful for research and content curation purposes.

Translation

AI-powered language translation tools can help copywriters reach a broader international audience by translating content accurately and efficiently.

BTW tinyAlbert can translate copy from English to seven other languages, including French and German. More languages are in the pipeline.

Chatbots and customer support

AI-powered chatbots can provide instant responses to customer queries and assist in handling customer support requests. They can handle common inquiries, freeing up human copywriters to focus on more complex tasks.

Last thought

AI-generated content can't match the creative and emotional nuances that skilled human copywriters deliver. While AI can be a valuable tool for generating content efficiently, it's best used in conjunction with human creativity and expertise to produce the most compelling and authentic copy.
