How to complete a DKIM on a GoDaddy site

Follow these steps to complete a DKIM signup for a business email/domain hosted on GoDaddy nameservers.

Why DKIM? Click to see the new Gmail and Yahoo anti-spam rules.

Sender Email Setup

If you have a business domain email from GoDaddy, you can easily update the sender identity in your tinyAlbert account.

Signup for DKIM

  1. Log in to your GoDaddy account.

  2. Go to My Account.

  3. Go to Domains > DNS records and you will see your purchased domain name.

  4. Click Add Record.

Create a DKIM CNAME on GoDaddy

To add a CNAME Record, enter these values into the fields and then click Save. GoDaddy adds the record.

  • Type: CNAME

  • Name: tec1._domainkey

  • Value: tec1.dkim.tinyemail.com

While saving a record, you might see a warning message. Select Yes and click Save.

Configuring the tinyAlbert account

  1. Open tinyAlbert.

  2. Click the account icon and select the DKIM menu tab.

  3. Go to the Sender domain drop-down and choose your domain.

  4. Click the Check link.

If DKIM is successfully set up, you'll see the status as DKIM verified. If you encounter any hiccups, contact our support team.
