Everyone likes options. That's why we built the Classic Builder tool. The beta release of the Classic Builder gives you greater control over the entire campaign workflow, from template selection (we have an awesome template library) to customizations on the editor canvas and the send schedule.

I should note Classic Builder is a standalone option. If you prefer tinyAlbert's lightning-fast, fully automated, AI-powered campaign builder, that option is, of course, available to you as well.

Let me show you the beta release Classic Builder workflow from start to finish. It's remarkably intuitive. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be building campaigns from scratch in a few minutes.

Starting the campaign workflow

Go to the side menu and click Campaigns. At the top of the page, click the Draft Campaigns tab. Click the Add New button. A popup displays.

tinyAlbert open campaigns page

Click the Select Classic Builder button.

Filling in campaign details

On the Details page, add important campaign details and then click Save.

  • Campaign name - A unique and descriptive name. This is for internal use only.

  • Subject - This is the subject line of your email.

  • Preview text - A short message that displays below the subject line in your subscriber's inbox. Learn how to optimize this field.

Selecting a template

On the Design page, select an email template. Hover a template and click the Preview link to see how it looks (desktop and mobile displays).

There are several template types.

  • Saved - Templates you have designed before and saved to your template library.

  • Staff picks - Our selection of the best templates.

  • Branded - Templates tailored to your business based on your Brand Kit.

  • Basic - Big building blocks for any email design.

  • Library - A growing collection of stunning pre-designed templates.

When you find a great template for the campaign, click the Use link. The template editor displays.

Designing your email

The template editor provides a cornucopia of design, content, and layout options. Add images, insert a countdown timer, change the text, and more. You are the Rembrandt of your campaign, and the editor is your canvas.

Hey, Rembrandt, you don't have to change the template. If the template meets your needs, go to the top of the page and click Continue to go to the next step in the wizard.

Optionally, click the Send test link at the top of the page to see how the message displays inside an Inbox.

There is no Save button. tinyAlbert periodically saves your work.

Reviewing campaign details

After you click Continue on the editor, the Schedule page displays. It has your Go/No Go Prelfight checklist. Review the campaign details and make final changes, if required.

You can review all the critical parameters of your email campaign. Click an Edit button to review or update the:

  • Details page - Campaign name, date, subject line, preview text.

  • Design page - The template and edits you made to your content.

Scroll down and click the Setup button to set the campaign schedule. Optionally, go to the top right corner, click the Send button, and select an option. You can send it now or save it for later. If you save it for later, go to Campaigns > Draft Campaigns to open the unfinished masterpiece.

Scheduling a campaign

Click the Setup button to set the schedule. In the popup, click the icons to set the date and time. Click Schedule to save. Optionally, click the link to send the campaign now.

use the calendar to set the send date

After setting the schedule, tinyAlbert returns to the Future Campaigns page. The campaign is active. Optionally, click the three-dot icon to preview the campaign or make changes.

In the beta release, you do not select an audience. tinyAlbert auto-selects all your audiences.

Checking the calendar

If the campaign is activated, tinyAlbert adds an icon to the calendar. Click the checkmark to preview the campaign or open the editor.

That's it.
